Shipping, Refunds & Returns

Free shipping of goods is within New Zealand only ( Excludes Stewart, Chatham  & Great barrier islands ) only will proceed once your payment is confirmed.

 

New Zealand rural & non rural deliveries allow 2-3 working days for item/s to arrive unless stated. International shipping overseas is available. Please contact us for shipping costs to your country. 

 

Unless not in stock Emergency Vehicle Lighting will contact you with a ETA of arrival into stock.

 

Purchaser accepts full responsibility to fully unpack/check items over in full before signing off with courier/delivery driver & report any damage to courier company within 24 hours. Failure to do this will result in freight damage claim to be denied.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

Emergency Vehicle Lighting has the discretion to refuse any returns/refunds due to either change of mind/incorrectly ordered item/not required for a specific purpose anymore.

Items that are pre-ordered from overseas upon full payment are non-refundable/non-returnable. Store credit may/may not be offered. This will be at our discretion. 

Your item/s must be in its original packaging & unused and in a resalable condition to be returned. You must return the item within 10 days of your purchase. Failing to do this within the time frame stated will cancel the refund.

Some items cannot be returned. These include Hella or Narva headlight/s & Hella or Narva bulb/s. Merchandise that has been opened, used or altered will not be accepted for return.

If a product has a manufacturing defect Emergency Vehicle Lighting will ship the item directly back to the manufacturer to be diagnosed & await their outcome. This may take a few weeks.

Restocking Fee

All items are subject to a 15% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.

Cancellation Policy

Prior to shipping, your order can be cancelled at no cost to you. Once your order has shipped a cancelled order will be subject to the same conditions as a returned order. You will incur all freight costs and a restocking fee of 15%.

Warranty

All product/s either new or pre-owned must be installed by an Approved/Qualified installer/Automotive Electrician to validate warranty and a warranty claim. Copy of invoice must be supplied with any claim. Failing to get product/s installed by an Approved/Qualified installer/Automotive Electrician will void the warranty by the manufacturer and Emergency Vehicle Lighting.

If product/s are subject to misuse/abuse/off-road use or used for a purpose they were not designed for then it is up to Emergency Vehicle Lighting or the manufacturer’s discretion to deny a warranty claim. Tampering/modifying will void the warranty.
